Owners David Colombo and Scott Brownlee invite you to the harbor-side Black Cat Tavern overlooking the water in Hyannis, MA. The Black Cat strives to achieve the same high levels of food and service as Mr. Colombo’s other Hyannis restaurants, the Roadhouse Cafe, in operation for more than 30 years, and Colombo’s Cafe and Pastries.
The Black Cat is not simply a seafood shack. The restaurant has a spacious bar and piano lounge – with live music offered four nights a week – a roomy, heated patio and unbeatable ferry access. The expansive menu offers a variety of the freshest seafood, signature burgers, steaks and chops, and chef-driven specialties. The menu also incorporates local ingredients extensively.
The Black Cat Tavern’s decor is done in a warm and inviting nautical theme accentuated with mahogany-wrapped columns, crisp white walls and polished brass fixtures. The awning-covered, forty-seat patio is ideal for enjoying a full lunch or dinner or simply sipping cocktails after a day at the beach.
The Black Cat Tavern is proud to offer a full lineup of ‘made-in-the-USA’ branded apparel and merchandise with a focus on being environmentally conscious. The Black Cat also works closely with Cape & Islands Green ensuring that they do their part in preserving the Cape’s natural beauty and ecosystem.
