New owners David Colombo and Scott Brownlee invite you to the newly renovated Black Cat Tavern in Hyannis, MA. The Tavern offers a wide array of fresh native seafood, fine steaks, gourmet burgers and home made desserts. Live music is featured in the piano bar and lounge Thursday through Saturday night. The Black Cat Tavern looks to achieve the same status as Mr. Colombo’s other Hyannis restaurants, The Roadhouse Cafe, currently in it’s twenty ninth year of operation, and Colombo’s Cafe and Pastries, currently in it’s third.
The Black Cat Tavern is a waterfront, harbor side restaurant with a full bar, piano lounge, spacious patio and unbeatable ferry access. The Black Cat is not simply a seafood shack. The full menu offers gourmet burgers, steaks, chops and chef driven specialties in a breezy casual atmosphere. The Chef has designed the menu to use only the freshest local ingredients.
The Black Cat Tavern’s decor is a bright, clean, warm, nautical theme. The diverse menu offers something for summer vacationers and year round Cape residents alike. The atmosphere in the dining room and bar is accentuated by the mahogany wrapped columns, simple white walls and polished brass fixtures. The awning covered, forty seat patio is ideal for either a full sit down dinner or sipping cocktails after a day at the beach.
The Black Cat Tavern offers a full lineup of branded merchandise that is proudly made in the United States, with a focus on being environmentally conscious. The Black Cat Tavern will offer guests an alternative to the highly priced, foreign made memorabilia available in the gift shops of its competitors. The Black Cat is working closely with Cape and Islands Green to ensure that they do their part in preserving the Cape’s natural beauty and its ecosystem.
